Notice Description

Milborne Port Parish Council wishes to tender for supply of a Multi User Games Area (MUGA) to be constructed on the defunct tennis court at the Playing Fields, Springfield Road, Milborne Port , DT9 5RE. An existing single tennis court 33m x 17m is at the end of its useful life and currently in a disused state. Contractor works to convert this into a MUGA to include (not an exhaustive list): - remove existing fence posts, chain link fencing& guide wires,gate, edging pavers, Basketball hoops & support, tennis net & posts/sockets - clean existing tarmac surface, drill drainage holes into sub base & fill with gravel - install concrete edging kerbs to form mowing edge/weed barrier - apply coating to existing tarmac surface and new porous sport tarmac surface on top, reset tennis post sockets - Paint new surface in appropriate non slip permeable paint, and paint new lines for 5 aside soccer, tennis and basket ball - install 3m high twin bar fencing with 1.2m rebound reinforcement, and steel post supports set in concrete, with single gate access. - install 5 aside soccer goals, removable tennis posts/net and basketball hoops/back boards - All waste to be safely removed from site
