The Strengthening Worcestershire Fund was successfully rolled out in 2024, with PS187,000 raised and 31 vital local projects funded. In total there were 57 applications totalling PS337,000, demonstrating the huge demand for this type of funding for project/core costs. For this year, the Council has a further PS100k available that they wish to invest in supporting local communities through small grants to community groups/charities through a continuing partnership with Worcestershire Community Foundation (WCF), who will fundraise an agreed level of match and manage the logistics of the end-to-end programme.
