Notice Description
South Kesteven District Council (the "Council") sought suppliers who are able to deliver a high quality, durable, and inclusive facility that caters to a range of skill levels and wheeled sports disciplines, including skateboarding and wider opportunities for bmx biking, scooting and roller blading.
Planning Information
South Kesteven District Council approached three known suppliers for information and guidance regarding the provision of a skate park. The council had contacted three suppliers to gain ideas and views if the project was achievable within the budget of £100k. The council received 3 quotes with designs which are different to one another to understand what could be done within the space. The council intends to design a tender pack following this engagement and public consultation to produce an open tender for this opportunity. The council intends for this tender to be live mid August 2025.
