Bracknell Forest Council are seeking to engage with providers that can deliver Short Breaks for children and young people with disabilities to participate in Preliminary Market Engagement and assist in developing the local authority’s approach to a targeted Short Breaks service. Ahead of a tender process for a new service anticipated to start in April 2026, Bracknell Forest Council are seeking to engage with providers that can deliver high quality activities for the following groups of young people with disabilities: - Primary Age (approx 35 young people) - Primary Age with Complex Needs (approx 10 young people) - Secondary Age (approx 22 young people) - Secondary Age with Complex Needs (approx 10 young people) The numbers above are an indication of current demand, on average there are 15-20 new referrals a year.
