Notice Title
Lower Carbon Industrial Strategy and Partnership Growth Support
Notice Description
The Solent Cluster is seeking suitably qualified and experienced consultancy services to provide lower carbon industrial strategy policy support, and stakeholder engagement to deliver paid Partnership growth. The Solent Cluster is looking for a single named resource rather than services provided by a range of consultancy resources. We anticipate that the role will need to commit 2.5 / 3 days per week to the service, and proposals are invited on this basis. The contract will initially run from September 2025 to March 2026 (inclusive), with any extension subject to performance and budget availability. A budget ceiling of PS50,000 (excluding VAT) is available for this work. This will include all costs associated with the specified work. For any proposals that exceed this amount the Council reserves the right to set aside and not evaluate further. The Accountable Body for The Solent Cluster is Portsmouth City Council (PCC). As such the contract for services will be between the successful consultancy and Portsmouth City Council and will be subject to PCC's standard Terms and Conditions. All prospective bidders must be registered with In-Tend. The successful consultant will need to demonstrate an understanding of the Solent's low carbon energy sector and industrial decarbonisation cluster and be adept at stakeholder engagement.
