Notice Description

The successful supplier will be required to provide cleaning services for Olchfa School located in Swansea, Wales. The value of the contract is approximately PS293,000 per annum. Olchfa School is a large, oversubscribed and busy 11-18 mixed comprehensive school situated in the west of Swansea. There are 1,900 pupils on roll, including 457 in the sixth form. The school has a swimming pool, 3G pitch, multi-gym, sports halls and performance theatre that it makes available for hire by the community in the evenings and on weekends. It has a specialist teaching facility on site catering for pupils with moderate learning needs. Just over 12% of pupils are eligible for free school meals, which is well below the national average and just under 15% of pupils live in the 20% most deprived areas in Wales. The duration of the contract being offered is three years commencing on 1st January 2026 and concluding on 31st December 2028 and will be on a guaranteed performance basis offering a fixed annual subsidy to the school.
