Notice Description
This Contract is for the maintenance of the Heart and Lung machines as well as the autotransfusion system within the Cardiothoracic Directorate at the Cardiff & Vale University Health Board. These machines are designed to provide temporary support for patients during procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass.
Procurement Information
LivaNova is the only supplier currently on the market in the UK that are providing these machines as well as providing a maintenance service. Therefore, for the purposes of standardisation and maintaining quality control and price stability a direct award would be encouraged.
