This procurement falls under the industry category of forestry services with a CPV code of 77200000 and is situated across various regions including Central, North, East, South, and West of Scotland, identified by a location region code of UKM. The current stage of the procurement process is the tender stage, with the tender period concluding on 22nd August 2025, ahead of a second-stage invitation on 1st October 2025. The DPS will operate over a 60-month period with the option for extension and requires electronic submission of tenders.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in horticultural and forestry services to expand their operations within Scotland's public sector. The DPS arrangement allows for continued engagement and potential for sizable contracts as requirements emerge, making it well-suited for businesses that can meet the technical and professional experience criteria, along with insurance and environmental management requirements. Small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly those experienced in forestry and landscape management, can benefit from the flexibility of the DPS structure, as it encourages recurring business opportunities and promotes community benefits.
