Notice Description
Wigan Council is seeking to engage with the market to explore innovative, resident facing digital tools that can support key areas of Public Health. This exercise forms part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing digital approaches to preventative health and complements our existing face-to-face service delivery.
Planning Information
This market engagement is exploratory in nature and does not constitute a commitment to procure. However, Wigan Council may consider piloting selected solutions as part of our wider digital transformation agenda. Any such pilot would be subject to further discussion and would not imply a guarantee of long-term adoption. This initiative aligns with Wigan Council's Progress with Unity strategy, which emphasises innovation, community empowerment, and the integration of digital solutions to improve health outcomes and reduce inequalities. By exploring digital tools, we aim to extend the reach and impact of our services, ensuring that residents are supported in ways that are accessible, effective, and sustainable. Interested parties are invited to share information about their products, platforms, or services, including case studies, links to recorded demonstrations, or evidence of impact where available. Expressions of interest are to be submitted via 'The Chest' procurement portal (www.the-chest.org.uk).
