The purchase of a germanium-68/gallium-68 generator, which is a device used to extract the positron-emitting isotope from a source of decaying gemanium-68. The parent isotope 68Ge has a half-life of 271 days and can be easily utilized for on-site production of generator-produced 68Ga. These generators are self-shielding (do not emit radioactivity) and have a life span of 12-18 months, with a potential to generate >500 doses of 68Ga
