MTC for Repair, Maintenance & Minor Works for high level lighting installations at Belfast City Council properties and locations
Notice Description
The purpose of this contract is to appoint a specialist contractor to conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) along with reactive, remedial, and emergency repairs on existing high level lighting systems. The contract will also include a schedule of labour rates and material on costs etc for the supply & installation, repair works, upgrades of high-level lighting systems and associated parts and accessories. The duration of the contract will be for one year with the option to extend to a further three years following contract evaluation (on a year-by-year basis). The extension will only be granted on satisfactory performance by the contractor and the discretion of the BCC maintenance unit and BCC compliance unit, this will be done through KPI analysis. The Contractor must ensure that at the time of tender to have visited the sites, if required, to conduct a site survey to ascertain the condition of the existing systems as no claims on the want of knowledge shall be considered. It should be noted that the council reserve the right to add or omit any properties throughout the duration of the contract.

Renewal: The Council reserves the right to extend/renew the Contract up to a further [3 years]. Any extension may be subject to further approval by Council Committee, availability of funding and satisfactory performance of the Contractor.
