Summary of the contracting process

Leidos Supply Limited, delivering logistics commodities and services for the UK Ministry of Defence, procured battlefield casualty evacuation stretchers for military medical use. The framework’s estimated value was between £1,520,000 and £3,800,000, with a four-year term. It was one lot, suitable for SMEs, and the buyer intended to award at least one contract while reserving the right to award up to four. Evaluation required pass marks at qualification, technical question, user assessment and gross error trial stages, a 60% technical benchmark, then price assessment. Joint and several liability and applicable ISO standards formed part of the selection requirements.

This award shows established UK Ministry of Defence demand for battlefield casualty evacuation stretchers at a substantial, multi-year scale, with competition involving SME suppliers. A credible future competitor would need dependable manufacture or distribution of specialist medical equipment, robust UK supply and delivery capability, and the capacity to meet defence users’ operational requirements. Team Leidos are proud to be delivering the logistics commodities and services transformation (LCS(T)) Delivery partner contracts (LCS (T)/0001 dated 16.4.2015) on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) (the 'Prime Contract'). Delivery of other parts of the LCS(T) contract are delivered by Leidos Europe Ltd (LEL) and other partners (together 'Team Leidos'). This requirement is subject to the Public Procurement Regulations and respective advertising action. The Leidos Medical Team, which forms part of Leidos Supply Ltd, is considering the potential requirement for the supply of Battlefield Casualty Evacuation Stretchers on behalf of the UK MoD. Team Leidos would like to make interested suppliers aware that it has awarded a tender for its supply and delivery of Battlefield Casualty Evacuation Stretchers. Further to the tender notice issued on 19/01/2026, reference LSL/MED/0175 - The Supply of Battlefield Casualty Evacuation Stretchers (Tender Notice Number - ocds-h6vhtk-059416), Leidos Supply Ltd will award the Battlefield Casualty Evacuation Stretcher to TSG Associates LLP on a 4 year term only from 14/08/2026. The total estimated value for this Framework Agreement will be between PS1,520,000 and PS3,800,000, with a total length of 4 Years.
