PHW are scoping Artificial Intelligence software (computer aided detection / volumetry) to support the reporting of low-dose CT screening scans for a Lung Cancer Screening Programme in Wales.

Public Health Wales are exploring the market to scope this potential requirement and review indicative pricing to help inform a business case. Full details of this Pre Market Engagement exercise are available upon request. Documents must be requested by emailing Alexandra.Woodward@wales.nhs.uk. The email subject must state "ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENGE (COMPUTER AIDED DETECTION / VOLUMETRY SOFTWARE) TO SUPPORT THE REPORTING OF LUNG CANCER SCREENING CT SCANS IN WALES". Interested suppliers are encouraged to request the documents as soon as possible. The deadline for requesting documents is 12pm on 17th September 2025.
