Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process initiated by Ulster University involves the planning of the "DLD Sports Dome Works" project. This construction project falls under the industry categories of construction work and leisure and sports facilities. It is located in Derry~Londonderry, Northern Ireland, and involves transforming the former Foyle College site into a large-scale indoor sports and leisure dome. Companies with the capability to deliver complex construction projects in compliance with Northern Irish devolved regulations will find this tender appealing. With a budget of €10.86 million, partly funded by PEACEPLUS and matched by Ulster University, the project offers substantial business growth for firms equipped to construct multi-purpose sports facilities. Future developments include the potential for ongoing maintenance contracts and community engagement projects, offering further opportunities for interested businesses.
