Culham Campus has poor signal quality, and this solution aims to provide improved coverage externally and inside the main C11 security reception.

Procurement Information

Currently Ember Networks are the only supplier that can provide these services via Ionx. Ionx have engaged directly with Ember Networks Ltd to provide customer facing services. Ionx currently support the Private 5G network equipment and services on Culham Campus for Oxbotica. Ionx have developed a 'back end' SaaS solution and specialist 4G antennae equipment that will provide Public 4G mobile network solutions on private ground. Ionx are the only contractor to have contractually agreed with the 4 main network operators o2, EE, Vodafone & 3 to provide public 4G & 5G mobile services through their uniquely developed SaaS solution.
