Notice Description
Supply of band dendrometers and other supplementary sensors & instrumentation together with associated cabling, power supply, data recording, data storage and data transmission and remote monitoring equipment and ancillaries, developed, configured and deployed as a bespoke, prototype 'whole system' package to the purchaser's specification for each of five experimental sites across England and Scotland.
Procurement Information
The equipment is being customised and configured as a 'whole system' to the purchaser's specification to meet individual experimental site requirements The dendrometer at the core of the system is a proven product already in use in the organisation and in other European research organisations with whom the purchaser collaborates, and use of the same [compatible] equipment facilitates comparability of research results. That dendrometer is manufactured by the supplier and the supplier is uniquely positioned to be able to adapt and incorporate that product with other equipment to produce the system required.
