North East Lincolnshire Borough Council is currently undertaking a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) for shaping the future of its Housing Related Support (HRS) services. This procurement process is at the planning stage, part of a series aimed at refining the HRS offering before re-procurement. The PME initiative, titled "Preliminary Market Engagement: Shaping the Future of Housing Related Support in North East Lincolnshire," is centred around gathering insights from housing and support providers in the region. A collaborative workshop is scheduled to take place on 4th December 2025 at Centre4 Wootton Hall, Grimsby, with findings to be submitted by 16th December 2025. North East Lincolnshire Borough Council's Housing Related Support (HRS) service is delivered in partnership with local housing support services to teach citizens the skills to live independently and prevent homelessness. HRS is a short-term support service which aims to give citizens the skills to manage their home well. The aim of HRS support, is that citizens will no longer need further assistance from other homelessness services. The HRS service is undertaking Preliminary Market Engagement, to enable the sharing of insights gathered as part of a discovery project completed in early 2025, and to discuss the perspectives of organisations within the HRS market, and local housing, housing support and support providers regarding HRS provision. This is first of what may be a series of PME activities to shape our future HRS requirement prior to re-procurement.
