This Direct Award has been necessary to procure advisory services from a specialist Supplier with expertise in this field. Due to an absence of competition for technical reasons and provided there are no reasonable alternatives, only this particular supplier can supply the services required. Therefore, this was the only viable route demonstrating best Value for Money (VfM).
