The works are to include the removal of existing MRF equipment, supply new equipment, install the new recycling line to include the old and new equipment and test the new materials recycling line. The contract is also to provide and include warranty of new equipment and maintenance. This engagement will assist the Council in developing its procurement strategy and refining the specification. The purpose of the site visits is to provide suppliers with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the operational requirements, geographical challenges, access arrangements and service delivery expectations associated with the proposed contract.
