Notice Description
Provision of external audit services to the Trust, including examination of annual accounts and associated documents, and evaluating whether the Trust has established effective arrangements for achieving economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in its use of resources by verifying adherence to statutory obligations and best practices.
Procurement Information
In prior years, the previous competitive procurement exercise was not successful and received no bids. The audit market is known to be nationally problematic, and there are a limited number of suppliers who would be capable of supporting an organisation the size of STH. We have undertaken a market review to assess supplier appetite and capability to deliver services under NHS terms and conditions.
