Summary of the contracting process

The Ministry of Justice in the United Kingdom is currently engaged in the planning stage of a procurement process as part of the HMCTS Remote Participation programme. The process, identified by tender ID "PQQ 548," focuses on services related to video conferencing software development within the central government sector. The preliminary market engagement is scheduled to culminate with a webinar on 21 January 2026. Interested parties are encouraged to register by 20 January 2026 for participation in this engagement exercise, which is set to explore innovative solutions for enhancing remote participation in hearings. Activities will take place primarily in the UK.

This procurement process offers significant business growth opportunities, particularly for suppliers specialising in video-conferencing, unified communications, and related services. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are especially welcomed to engage, with the process designed to inform future strategies of His Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS). Participants have a chance to provide input, showcase capabilities, and potentially influence the future tender specifications, making it a valuable opportunity for businesses aiming to establish or expand their footprint in the provision of digital solutions for the public sector.
