The Council owned, managed, and operated Sewage Treatment Works located at Newgate Road, Tydd St Giles requires urgent and essential unplanned maintenance works. The plant is suffering from an accumulation of settled sludge within the BioBlock(c) Media, since removing the injected aeration in 2023 and requires complete removal and plant process resetting before further appraisal of this plant can be undertaken.
