Supply Chain Coordination Limited, through NHS Supply Chain, is procuring a national framework for dental equipment, consumables and related solutions across the UK. The scope covers routine and specialist dental care, including consumables and appliances; specialist clinical, implantology, orthodontic and bespoke laboratory solutions; operatory equipment; dental laboratory and digital systems; imaging and diagnostics; dental environments, decontamination and practice building; and mobile dental clinics and equipment. Products may include dental chairs, instruments, orthodontic devices, X-ray and CBCT systems, scanners, CAD/CAM equipment, furniture, decontamination systems, mobile clinics and field dentistry kits. Associated installation, maintenance, software, technical support, training, commissioning and practice services are included where relevant. The framework is intended for NHS and other UK healthcare-sector buyers, with delivery throughout the United Kingdom.

The procurement has reached tender: the buyer invited offers through an open procedure for a framework agreement, with electronic submissions in English. Enquiries close on 29 October 2026 at 15:00 and tenders are due by 11 November 2026 at 15:00. The framework is planned to run from 5 January 2028 to 4 January 2030, with an option to extend by up to two years; awards are due by 24 June 2027. Evaluation combines price with social value, technical and service criteria, varying by lot.

This opportunity suits manufacturers, distributors, specialist dental suppliers, laboratories, digital dentistry providers, imaging companies, healthcare fit-out contractors and mobile clinic operators able to support NHS-scale supply and delivery. Relevant strengths include dependable UK-wide distribution, resilient stock and supply chains, installation and commissioning, maintenance, lifecycle support, clinical and technical training, software integration, validated workflows, and experience delivering dental equipment or mobile treatment environments. Applicants must hold ISO 9001:2015, BS EN ISO 13485:2016 or UKAS-accredited MDSAP certification covering the relevant supply chain, with CE certification and declarations of conformity where applicable. Suppliers handling patient or personal data, or providing IT systems, services or devices, need Cyber Essentials Plus. Other requirements include a modern slavery statement for businesses with annual turnover of at least £36 million, an MSAT score of at least 41%, Evergreen Level 1, and a compliant Carbon Reduction Plan.

NHS Supply Chain is preparing a national framework agreement that will support the procurement of dental consumables, clinical solutions, equipment, digital technologies, diagnostics, and practice infrastructure, structured across the following indicative lots: The following lot structure is indicative and subject to final confirmation: Lot 1: Dental Consumables & Appliances Lot 2: Specialist Clinical & Bespoke Solutions Lot 3: Operatory Equipment Lot 4: Dental Laboratory & Digital Solutions Lot 5: Dental Imaging & Diagnostics Lot 6: Dental Environment, Decontamination & Practice Building Lot 7: Mobile Dental Clinics & Equipment Note: For future tenders the following requirements will apply: * ISO Certification: Tenderers must have ISO 9001: 2015 or BS EN ISO 13485:2016 certification or Medical Device Single Audit Program (MDSAP) certification accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) (or international equivalent) to cover all segments of the Tenderer's and the product's supply chain. This should include, but not be limited to, sales, manufacturing, storage and distribution ('ISO Certification'). Link for acceptable alternatives https://iaf.nu/en/accreditation-bodies/ ('Notified Bodies'). * CE Certification and Declaration of Conformity certificates are required where applicable to be presented at submission stage of the tender. * Modern Slavery for Tenderers that have an annual turnover of at least PS36 million must have a link to their modern slavery statement on their website * Modern Slavery Assessment Tool (MSAT) Tenderers must have a score of 41% or above within 12 months of the Tender Publication Date via https://supplierregistration.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/ * Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Assessment - Tenderers will need to have completed the assessment and achieved Level 1 within the 12 months prior to the Tender Close Date. This Lot provides dental consumables and appliance-based solutions designed to support the delivery of routine and specialist dental care across primary, community, and secondary care settings. These products include single use and repeat use materials, small appliances, and consumable items required for preventive dentistry, restorative procedures, orthodontics, minor oral surgery, anaesthesia, and infection control. The scope includes consumables and all associated accessories, where applicable, required to support safe, effective, and compliant dental treatment.
