SU123(26) Margam & Union House Buildings Over cladding Works
Notice Description
Over cladding opportunity for 2 no. buildings on the Swansea University Singleton Campus. Proposed scheme is to include the retrofit facade upgrades to two existing buildings. Facade upgrade will include over cladding the existing buildings (namely, Margam Building and Union House Building) with an improvement in the level of insulation on the external walls, and replacement of the glazing and doors where applicable. This project is a retrofit intervention associated with a wider decarbonisation scheme for the University, the buildings comprise of one 3 storey academic building (of mixed uses) and one 4 storey academic/student activity building, and the Works will take place in a live environment.
