Supply and Maintenance of GAPO Skip Mover
Notice Description
Purchase of 1 x GAPO GA16 machine and the ongoing servicing, repair and maintenance of this machine and the Councils existing fleet (4) of GAPO GA16 equipment.
Procurement Information
Ladybird Cranes Limited are the sole agents for this machine in the country and specialise in the service and maintenance of the existing machines including parts. Due to the company being the sole agent for the machines we are proposing to include in this contract the ongoing repairs and maintenance of all LCC owned GAPOs (4). The reason for this is any other contractor would not be able to supply spares and they also not be able provide and loan machine at the sites if a machine is out of action for any prolonged period. To conclude as the supplier is the only UK agent for this machine, we propose a direct award.
