Notice Description
The Agreement covers the supply of remote telemetry equipment and the provision of associated support services. The goods include remote telemetry units and associated components. The Services include maintenance and upkeep of for that proprietary battery powered RTU's.
Procurement Information
The current RTS system Yorkshire Water uses requires RTU's which can communicate via the Medina protocol. This is intellectual property owned by the supplier YW intend to direct award and therefore until a new RTS system, which can support an Open protocol, is implemented, it is required to use the sole supplier that can provide compatible hardware.
