Notice Description

West Sussex County Council (the Council) wishes to give notice of a potential contract opportunity for a Children's Residential Homes Management System. The Children's Residential Service currently operates seven Ofsted-registered children's homes and is planning further expansion. As the business grows and additional homes are brought online, it is essential to have full oversight across all services. To support this growth and maintain high standards of care and compliance, the Council is considering implementing a Children's Residential Homes Management System. The Council is engaging with the market to gather insights from suppliers to help shape and inform any future procurement activity related to the Residential Homes Management System.

Planning Information

The aim of the pre-market engagement activity is to: 1. Share the Council’s intention for a potential future purchase of software 2.Engage with suppliers to understand what their proposed approach to delivering the requirements would be, which may be used to help inform the overall delivery approach and commercial strategy (including scope, delivery, market capacity and commercial approaches) 3.Understand what the market can offer in terms of skills and experience, including any innovative technology, to support the Council’s future roadmap. The pre-market engagement will be carried out via the Council's Atamis Portal, interested suppliers should register their interest and access the Request for Information document by completing the following steps: 1. Register on the Portal: https://atamis-7669.my.site.com/ProSpend__CustomCommunitiesLogin 2. b) Express Interest on the Portal: Suppliers should navigate to the 'Find Opportunities' page, click on the title of the opportunity (WSCC - Children’s Residential Homes Management System (RFI), and click Register Interest. 3. ) Review the RFI and upload a response by 12.00 on 27 March 2026
