Supply, Installation, Validation and Verification of Liquid Handlers for NGS/WGS Library Preparation for Cambridge University Hospital. The additional liquid handlers perform sample dilution and Library Preparation for Whole Genome (WGS) or Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), to allow increased capacity for NGS and to enable in house WGS to be automated and delivered within the laboratory.

Procurement Information

This system is required to support the establishment of WGS testing which will be carried out on the Illumina NovaseqX platform. Hamilton have developed the liquid handlers to comprise of assay ready workstations for automated NGS/WGS library. This fully aligns with the Illumina equipment and consumable which are already validated within the laboratory. This therefore provides the best route to establishing this service.
