Notice Description

UK India Business Council (UKIBC) are a strategic advisory and advocacy group, representing UK business in India and providing a platform for UK business to run off-shore operations. They work closely with, and are recommended by, the UK Government Trade and Industry body. They work across a number of industries to strengthen links between the UK and India, improve ease of doing business, advocate at government level and provide employment support. UKIBC were engaged in November 2019 to assist with the expansion of our operations in India as, in Indian law, any organisation seeking to engage more than one consultant of Indian nationality must take up the services of an employment agent. UKIBC provides overseas administrative payroll services for UEA regional office staff based in India.

Procurement Information

UKIBC can uniquely provide services that support our desire to have a team of people solely representing UEA for the purposes of promoting the University to stakeholders such as potential students and their families, education agents and education institutions through attending appropriate events and managing stakeholder relationships. Furthermore, UKIBC can provide payroll management services for an Admissions Team who help process student applications from across the globe. Moreover, UKIBC can support our work with both the Indian and UK governments in relation to education and immigration policies, for example by working with the Ministry of Education in India and UK Visas and Immigration representatives in New Delhi. UEA is seeking Indian university TNE partners in India to explore options for delivery of our programmes in country and UKIBC is uniquely placed to advise and provide insight in this important aspect of the UK government's new International Education Strategy 2026.
