Trydan Environmental Baseline Framework Tender
Notice Description
Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru (Trydan) is seeking to procure the following professional services for large-scale wind farm developments in Wales. * Baseline ornithological surveys and reporting. * Baseline habitat classification, soils, and peat surveys and reporting. Trydan is looking to create a Framework for these lots. Trydan will then procure the services through call-off contracts. Trydan is looking to appoint a maximum of three Contractors per lot.
Lot Information
Baseline Ornithology Services
Lot 1: Baseline Ornithological Services - including, but not limited to, the following: Vantage-point surveys to record flight lines of 'target species.' Walkover (breeding) bird survey work. Species specific surveys for Schedule 1 (Wildlife and Countryside Act) species. Surveys for nightjar.
Baseline Habitat ServicesLot 2: Baseline Habitat Services - including the following: Peat and soil probing surveys. Phase 1 Habitat Surveys. Extended Phase 1 Habitat Survey. National Vegetation Classification Survey (of semi-natural plant communities).
