This will be undertaken through a Procurement Act 2023 regulated Procedure, enabling a responsive approach to securing providers who can deliver specialist, highly tailored activities for children and young people with the most complex needs. Shape About the Inclusive Wiltshire Programme Inclusive Wiltshire — previously known to families as Short Breaks — is the council’s updated model for delivering inclusive, safe and meaningful activity opportunities for children and young people with SEND. The model consists of four strands: Community Activities – Community based inclusive activities open to all Activity Payment – Flexible funding for personally planned activities chosen by families Activity Plus – Targeted activities for children and young people needing additional support Activity Extra – Specialist, bespoke activities for children and young people with the highest and most complex support needs These strands work together to ensure that families with varying levels of need can access the right support at the right time.
