Summary of the contracting process

Littlehampton Town Council is inviting tenders for the Transforming Littlehampton Museum Project Evaluation. This procurement process, categorised under museum services, seeks a consultant to evaluate the museum project, ensuring NLHF compliance through a comprehensive plan and mixed-methods approach. The project evaluation must be sensitive to Littlehampton's diverse community, collecting evidence from both internal and external stakeholders. Critical dates to note include the tender submission deadline on 23 April 2026 and the award period conclusion on 15 May 2026, paving the way for the contract to begin on 1 June 2026. The contract will run until 31 January 2029, aligning with key milestones for project deliverables and presentations.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses skilled in participatory, community-focused evaluation methods, particularly those with experience in museum or cultural projects. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in designing surveys, facilitating focus groups, and constructing logic model frameworks would be well-suited for this open procedure valued at £6,000. Companies offering qualitative and quantitative data collection services, with strong communication abilities and a proven track record of similar projects, are encouraged to participate. Winning this contract could enhance a firm's portfolio and broaden its reach within the sub-central government sector.
