Summary of the contracting process

Bromford Flagship LiveWest Limited, a sub-central government public authority located in Tewkesbury, is in the planning stage of a procurement process titled "Data Migration Services". This procurement is centred around IT services and consultancy, specifically targeting data migration into a Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution customised for the UK Social Housing sector. The process has initiated a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) aimed to run from 27th March 2026 to 9th April 2026, allowing for supplier engagement over the Easter holiday period. This engagement will help refine the procurement approach, with an anticipated contract start date of 3rd May 2026, spanning 3 to 4 years, and projecting a budget of £2-3 million. The procurement follows a Competitive Flexible Procedure, indicative of a structured yet adaptive method for selecting suitable suppliers.

This tender presents a substantial growth opportunity particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and boutique suppliers specialising in large-scale data migration projects within the UK Public Sector. Companies with expertise in handling Microsoft Dynamics 365-related requirements and a track record in the social housing sector will find themselves well-suited to participate. The requirement excludes consortiums and partnerships, preferring single suppliers capable of guaranteeing continuous, accountable service delivery. With an emphasis on gaining insights into delivery approaches, indicative pricing, and ensuring data integrity, this engagement encourages SMEs to showcase their capabilities and expand their influence in public IT service solutions.
