This procurement is for the supply of Wabtec UK Limited (Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) components including highly complex subsystems with multiple safety critical for Shoe Gear, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning(HVAC), Door Systems used across the London Underground (LU) Fleet and Engineering Vehicles to maintain a safe and operable condition and maintenance activities for rolling stock in accordance with Procurement Act 2023, Schedule 5 Section 7 a and b- Additional or repeat goods, services or works. This states where a public contract concerns the supply of goods, services or works by the existing supplier which are intended as an extension to, or partial replacement of, existing goods, services or works in circumstances where- (a) a change in supplier would result in the contracting authority receiving goods, services or works that are different from, or incompatible with, the existing goods, services or works, and (b) the difference or incompatibility would result in disproportionate technical difficulties in operation or maintenance.
