Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council (herein after referred to as the council) is undertaking soft market engagement in advance of a process to secure Gas Maintenance Services following the expiry of its existing contracts in March 2028. The council currently has two contractors undertaking the maintenance services on a geographical basis. The council also wishes to explore ways of delivering third party gas audits and air source heat pump maintenance. Currently the contractors are maintaining 8589 properties, undertaking approximately 6864 repairs per annum and installing 600-700 boilers per annum. The council is interested in meeting potential tenderers on the morning of 18th May in Welwyn Garden City. To arrange to attend this meeting please contact procurement@welhat.gov.uk
