    "description": "This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using direct award process B. Decision makers: Chief Nursing Officer No conflicts of interest have been identified in the awarding of this contract. Evidence of current service delivery against the PSR Key Criteria for the purposes of awarding a contract under Direct Award B is detailed below: 1. St Barnabas House * Quality and Innovation: Leads Project ECHO Sussex Hospices, delivering care home education and end-of-life training. Actively involved in virtual health pilots and CHC bed proof-of-concept. * Value: Demonstrates cost-sharing and efficiency through shared posts and benchmarking. * Integration & Sustainability: Embedded as a convener and provider in the Sussex PEoLC system. * Access & Choice: Participates in initiatives to reduce ambulance call-outs and hospital admissions. * Social Value: Strong community engagement and volunteer support; contributes to sector-wide sustainability. 2. Martlets Hospice * Quality and Innovation: Co-leads education collaborative and management development programmes. * Value: Aligns mandatory training and reporting across hospices to reduce duplication. * Integration & Sustainability: Active in Sussex-wide strategic planning and virtual health programme. * Access & Choice: Supports care home staff confidence and patient-centred care. * Social Value: Promotes equity in education and workforce development. 3. St Wilfrid's Hospice (Chichester) * Quality and Innovation: Delivers nurse-led Fast-track care at home with flexible commissioning. * Value: Operates under cost-per-case model, contributing to efficient resource use. * Integration & Sustainability: Active in Sussex-wide commissioning and hospice alliance planning. * Access & Choice: Supports personalised care and continuity from hospital to home. * Social Value: Strong community engagement and inclusive service delivery. 4. St Wilfrid's Hospice (Eastbourne) * Quality and Innovation: Participates in benchmarking and common data set development. * Value: Engaged in shared procurement and commissioning strategy. * Integration & Sustainability: Works with NHS partners to co-design care models. * Access & Choice: Contributes to reducing non-elective admissions and improving ReSPECT plan coverage. * Social Value: Focuses on patient experience and community-based care. 5.
