Notice Description

The Bank intends to establish a multi-year, multi-supplier framework agreement for the provision of engineering services. As part of its ongoing technology transformation, including the expansion of its digital estate, the Bank requires timely and flexible access to specialist external resource across a range of technology, design and delivery disciplines. The framework will be structured into a number of Lots and will establish a panel of pre-qualified suppliers capable of delivering services across, but not limited to, the following areas: Software engineering Artificial intelligence and automation Service design DevOps and platform engineering Product and user interface (UI) design The framework is intended to provide the Bank with a compliant and efficient route to market for the call-off of services, enabling: Rapid access to appropriately skilled resources Supplementation of internal capacity and capability Mitigation of delivery and programme risk Acceleration of delivery across priority initiatives The framework will also support the development of a diverse, scalable and resilient supplier base, capable of supporting both short-term delivery requirements and longer-term strategic transformation objectives.
