Crawley Borough Council's further competition for property, liability including liability claims handling, crime, motor fleet and group personal accident and travel insurance was awarded on 31/03/2020 via YPO's Insurance Placement DPS - 978. The contract had a maximum duration period of 60 months. In 2025 the Council modified this contract to extend it by 12 months as reported in Modification Notice 2025/S 000-012611. An extraordinary modification has been required to extend the contract for an additional 24 months due to the Council losing the ability to proceed with an intended transfer to a different insurance scheme because of Local Government Reorganisation (LGR).
