This is a Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency (VEAT) notice. National Galleries Scotland intend to enter into a services concession contract for the provision of catering services at the Modern Art Galleries in Edinburgh. The contract will be for the duration of 28 months from May 2026 to October 2028.

Procurement Information

Regulation 8 of the 2016 Regulations provides that the 2016 Regulations apply to services concession contracts with an estimated value of 5,193,000 GBP (inclusive of VAT) (indicative value excluding 20% VAT - 4,327,500 GBP). The estimated value of the proposed contract that is the subject of this notice - which is a services concession contract - is below the threshold at which the 2016 Regulations apply and public procurement of the contract in terms of the 2016 Regulations is not therefore necessary.
