Manchester City Council procured specialist safe accommodation and support for victims and survivors of domestic abuse and violence within the LGBTQ+ community. The service is intended to provide LGBTQ+-affirming accommodation and tailored support for each household, rather than a standard model. As part of this engagement, the Council intends to: outline the proposed scope and scale of the future service; explore different models of LGBTQ+‑affirming safe accommodation; understand accommodation availability and constraints within Manchester; explore opportunities for partnership or consortium delivery; and identify potential market risks or barriers to delivery.
