The primary purpose of the service is to deliver safe accommodation victims and to survivors of DV&A from the LGBT community. It is essential that support within this provision is tailored to the specific circumstances of each household, avoiding a one-size-fits-all approach
Planning Information
Manchester City Council is seeking to engage with organisations that have experience of delivering domestic abuse support, safe accommodation, housing‑related support, and/or specialist services for LGBTQ+ communities. As part of this engagement, the Council intends to: outline the proposed scope and scale of the future service; explore different models of LGBTQ+‑affirming safe accommodation; understand accommodation availability and constraints within Manchester; explore opportunities for partnership or consortium delivery; and identify potential market risks or barriers to delivery.
