The Centre for Process Innovation Limited is procuring a closed, multi-supplier framework for mass spectrometry equipment and associated services across all CPI sites. The scope covers supplying new mass spectrometers, servicing and maintaining existing instruments, supplying parts, providing technical support, and delivering training. It includes equipment from Waters, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Agilent and Hiden, as well as new equipment from suitable manufacturers or specialist suppliers. This procurement demonstrates sustained demand from CPI for specialist mass spectrometry capability, including both capital equipment and manufacturer-specific lifecycle support. A credible future competitor would need demonstrable expertise in mass spectrometer installation, planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, parts supply and technical support. For new equipment, suppliers would also need the capacity to provide training and demonstrate strong service quality alongside competitive pricing.
