This project pertains to the building construction and refurbishment industry, specifically involving fire suppression systems and fireproofing work, and is set to take place at the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Hospital in Cramlington, Northumberland, UK. This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in design and build contracting, particularly those experienced in healthcare infrastructure projects. Companies that excel in fire safety systems, refurbishment, and digital infrastructure upgrades would be well-suited to engage. The three-stage competitive procedure allows for selective procurement, ensuring that only six down-selected tenderers will advance, offering an attractive opportunity for businesses to demonstrate their technical and economic capabilities. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, as the procurement strategy accommodates such entities, fostering business growth in the sector.
