Notice Description
This Procurement is designed to establish a Closed Framework through an Open Procedure in line with PA23 for the supply, design, manufacture, delivery and/ or hire of building materials, associated products, equipment and construction fuel for Orbit Group Limited and any other Authority Group member entitled to use the Framework Agreement. It is intended to provide a resilient, compliant and value-for-money supply route that supports Orbit Homes (2020) Limited and the wider Orbit Group in delivering safe, affordable, high-quality and sustainable homes. The Framework will consist of 28 individual Lots for the supply of key materials used in the construction and regeneration of our homes. Midlands - Facing Bricks, Brick Arches and Brick Specials
Supply facing bricks, brick arches and brick specials in accordance with planning requirements, technical specifications, product schedules and site programmes.
Midlands - Thermal and Concrete BlocksSupply thermal and concrete blocks in accordance with drawings, U value requirements, technical specifications and product schedules.
Midlands - Timber Joists and Trusses, design, manufacture, supply and deliveryDesign, manufacture, supply and delivery of all timber joists, engineered joists and roof trusses as per house type. Submissions must address design basis, drawings, calculations where required, inclusion checklist, bracing, wall plates, metalwork, restraint straps, protection kits, stairwell protection where applicable, offload restrictions, delivery assumptions and approval process.
Midlands - Thermally Broken Lintels and SteelSupply thermally broken lintels, steel products and associated items.
Midlands - Soffit, Fascia, GRP and Cladding, design, manufacture, supply and deliverySupply soffit, fascia, GRP and cladding products. Commodity elements may be priced using product schedules. GRP, cladding and plotted or design-led items must be priced using drawings, elevations, plot schedules, fixing assumptions, colour and finish requirements, certification requirements and inclusion checklists.
Midlands - Stone Cills manufacture, supply and deliveryManufacture, supply and deliver stone cills in accordance with drawings, profiles, sizes, finishes and technical specification.
Midlands - Internal Doors and LiningsSupply internal doors and linings in accordance with tenure specifications, house type schedules, drawings and project requirements.
Midlands - First and Second Fix TimbersSupply first and second fix timbers, associated sheet materials and finishing materials where specified.
Midlands - IronmongerySupply ironmongery in accordance with specifications, door schedules and tenure requirements. Schedules must capture social rent handles, house number plaques and loft access doors or loft traps where included.
Midlands - StaircasesDesign, manufacture, supply and delivery of all staircases in accordance with drawings, specifications, house type information and approved design submissions.
Midlands - Garage DoorsSupply garage doors in accordance with project schedules, drawings and specifications.
Midlands - Small Plant HireProvide small plant hire in accordance with the equipment list, site requirements and hire schedule. Pricing must include weekly hire rates, pro rata treatment for additional days, delivery, collection, maintenance, replacement, breakdown support, safety documentation and low emission or electric alternatives where available.
Midlands - Forklift and Telehandler HireProvide hire in accordance with the equipment list, site requirements and hire schedule. Pricing must include weekly hire rates, pro rata treatment for additional days, delivery, collection, maintenance, replacement, breakdown support, safety documentation and low emission or electric alternatives where available.
Midlands - Fuel, construction use onlyProvide fuel for construction use only as per technical specification.
East - Facing Bricks, Brick Arches and Brick SpecialsSupply facing bricks, brick arches and brick specials in accordance with planning requirements, technical specifications, product schedules and site programmes in the East.
East - Thermal and Concrete BlocksSupply thermal and concrete blocks in accordance with drawings, U value requirements, technical specifications and product schedules in the East.

Planning Information
Formats & Timing of the Engagement Orbit have considered the market's resources, the time and cost of engagement and the prevention of barriers to participation. Orbit have decided that the format of the engagement will be: 1. A one & half hour webinar with interested suppliers to present Orbit's planned Materials Framework and take feedback. The webinar will include a Q&A session • Orbit Presentations 30 minutes • Q&A 45 minutes • Summary 15 minutes Orbit will allow sufficient time for participants to prepare for and participate in the engagement. An outline timeline for this Market Engagement process is detailed below: Preliminary Market Engagement Notice Released 13th May 2026 Webinars 10.00am to 12.00pm: 1) Tuesday 26th May 2026 2) Friday 29th May 2026 Interested parties are required to submit the following: 1) Please confirm which webinar date you prefer. 2) Provide an Email Address and we will send a Teams invitation via the ProContact portal. Please note: a maximum of 25 participants will be invited to the webinar on a first-come, first-served basis. Orbit reserve the right to invite more participants to take part in additional webinars should resources permit. Those Participants which are not invited or cannot attend the webinar are invited to submit observations or complete the survey in writing via the messaging options, which will be taken into account as part of this Market Engagement exercise.
