Summary of the contracting process

The Nursing and Midwifery Council is procuring a facility and associated services to deliver a new Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), a practical simulated assessment of applicants’ clinical skills and knowledge. The service will support the Council’s Test of Competence for prospective nursing associates trained outside England, and nurses and midwives trained outside the UK who want to practise in the UK.
