Notice Description
Pure is UEA's Research Management System. Following a recent migration to the cloud this exemption is required to renew Pure hosting environments, licencing and support elements. Pure is a core component of UEA's REF strategy and submission and powers a public facing website showcasing UEA research, staff profiles and publications.
Procurement Information
Pure is a propriety product developed and sold exclusively by Elsevier. Pure integrates with a number of other systems Eprints, Research Portal/Website, Data Warehouse and UERP (feeds staff, organisation, project and award data into Pure). UEA estimates that a change of product would be a major project taking 2 to 3 years depending on budget and available resources.
