The Crown Estate sought vehicle leasing services for Windsor Great Park, supporting its daily operations. This opportunity suited vehicle leasing and fleet management businesses able to supply a mixed operational fleet of cars and light commercial vehicles and manage vehicles over a multi-year hire arrangement. Relevant suppliers would need the operational capacity to provide 42 vehicles for use at Windsor Great Park, together with fleet management, repair and maintenance support. The procurement was identified as suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises, so it was not limited to large national fleet operators. The planned evaluation placed all weight on quality, making the strength and credibility of the proposed service important, including the ability to explain how vehicles would be supplied, supported and managed and to present the offer during the tender process.
