Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process led by the Respect Collaboration Trust, a UK-based sub-central government body, culminated in awarding a contract for the provision of alternative education therapy services to Catharsis Creative Arts Therapy Ltd. The process involved an open procedure under the Light Touch Regime, starting with its tender notice on 4th June 2026 and concluding with the contract award notice on 4th August 2026. The initiative was focused on education and training services within the UK, specifically aiming to provide education outside conventional school settings for children unable to access standard education due to suspension or exclusion. The contract, valued at £1,000,000 with potential annual renewals, will run from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027 and can extend further depending on continued demand.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in educational and therapy services, particularly those capable of providing tailored educational solutions to meet specific needs in alternative education environments. Companies that are experienced in delivering education and training services, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and those with a focus on community and social impact, will find this an ideal opportunity. The open procurement process ensures that quality is paramount, with a significant emphasis on service location, staff qualifications, and service tracking. By engaging in such contracts, businesses can expand their portfolio, enhance credibility, and potentially secure longer-term governmental agreements.
