Summary of the contracting process

West Lothian Council procured parental employment support services across West Lothian, using flexible and accessible delivery methods tailored to participants’ needs and circumstances. The work combines guidance, education and training to help parents engage with employability support, prepare for progression and move into work or other positive destinations. Lot 1 covered early engagement and pre-employability support through a parental employability support programme. The final contract values are £85,000 for Lot 1 and £140,000 for Lot 2; each contract runs for 990 days. Both contracts are active.
