Notice Description

North Yorkshire Council (the Authority) is requesting information from suppliers to help determine the scope and feasibility of its requirement, to understand the range of potential solutions available in the market, and to inform any potential future procurement exercise for a Passenger Transport System (the System). The Authority is also inviting interested suppliers to a Meet the Buyer Event where the Authority would like to engage with interested suppliers further as part of a question-and-answer session to gather feedback on the feasibility of its proposal, the proposed procurement approach, as well as any technical queries. The Authority have been undertaking work internally to understand the scope, business processes, customer journey, and interfaces/interactions that the existing in-house System currently provides (in addition to what it should but does not provide). The Authority is not looking to replace the System like for like and is instead interested in one or more commercial off the shelf solutions that can provide one or more capabilities that will work together to deliver a coherent replacement.
