The intended purpose of the contract is for the Symphony supplier (Optum), to decommission the system to a read-only model by reducing server and licence numbers, disabling live interfaces, migrating to updated Microsoft Server and SQL Server platforms, and ensuring ongoing annual support.
Procurement Information
Egton Medical Information Systems Ltd (Optum) is the sole owner of all Intellectual Property Rights, including copyright, in the Symphony system and associated software, and does not license or permit third-party providers to access, support, or modify the system or its underlying data. As the system is proprietary and integral to existing operations, no alternative supplier has the legal or technical capability to deliver the required services without infringing these rights.
